Eddie Vedder Ventures 'Into the Wild'

Pearl Jam's Eddie Vedder will unveil an original soundtrack featuring new solo material . Vedder's 'Hard Sun' will appear in 'Into the Wild', along with a slew of other folky ballads. Director Sean Penn hand-picked Vedder to provide the music for the film, starring Emile Hirsh and Vince Vaughn. The soundtrack is out September 18, three days before the movie hits the big screen. 5. It DOES sound reminscent of Bon Jovi's "Wanted Dead Or Alive" but this sounds much better. Sorry but Eddie is not god & not exempt from recycling stuff he heard when he was growing up. I like Eddie & Pearl Jam but he's just a normal guy like anyone else.

11. Thank god for music like this. I cannot stop listening to it. A true feel good song. Thanks eddie! And no it does not sound at all like Bon Jovi's dead or alive. That guy needs a hearing aid.

12. I wonder if the original Gordon Peterson version also sounded like Wanted Dead or Alive? Its great that someone like Eddie is giving talents like Bon Jovi & Sambora their due with a little nod of appreciation.
